This book features 116 selected works from the Edna M. Kelly Collection of Native Art for an exhibition at the Miami University Art Museum, Oxford, Ohio. Pottery in the collection represents works from Hopi, Zuni, Acoma, Laguna, Zia, Cochiti, Santo Domingo, Isleta, Santa Clara and San Ildefonso pueblos. The objects for the exhibition were chosen in collaboration with three award-winning Pueboan potters and three pottery experts. The information presented in the book articulates how these individuals viewed and interpreted the pottery based on design, construction, usage and meaning.
