Pueblo, Navajo and Hispanic weavers have an intertwined history. Their weavings include utilitarian items such as blankets and winter wraps as well as intricate weavings that express their belief systems and express their love of beauty and their respect for the bounty of Mother Earth and Father Sky. This catalog accompanied an exhibit of the same name presented at the San Diego Museum of Man from April 1996 through February 1997 which highlighted Pueblo and Navajo weavings. It features color photographs and accompanying text about the items in the exhibit.
