Necklace -Mosaic Inlay Double-Sided Tab by Charlene & Frank Reano (San Felipe/Santo Domingo) SOLD

This stunningly beautiful double sided mosaic inlay necklace designed by San Felipe Pueblo artist, Charlene Reano, and her husband, Frank Reano, of Santo Domingo Pueblo. Much like the Ancient Ones, who used shell and stone for ornamentation, Charlene created a contemporary version with 33 fingers like tabs that drape together impressively. This double sided necklace is inlaid with turquoise, spiny oyster shell, mother of pearl shell, melon shell, red and purple alunite, gold lip shell, and pink mussel shell. These tabs are then strung onto a double strand of deep red spiny oyster shells.
