This elegant double-sided corn maiden is carved of a large mother of pearl shell and stands over 4" tall by over 2" in width. the robust shape adds dimension to the maiden. She is accented by turquoise jewelry and dots of turquoise and jet on one side and the other is made with a carved resemblence to corn in the body form, accented again with turquoise, jet and shell to mimick jewelry along with the classic dragonfly patterns on the dress. She stands on a marble base with crushed turquoise near the bottom.
