This large jar is handbuilt and polished with the natural buff clay slip. Butterflies and flowers abound on the jar in natural black mineral slip paints. The neck is anchored by a highly polished redware band that represents water and rainbow. Elongated neck finished off with a curvy lip that mimics the rainbow band. Made by Marcella Yepa of the Jemez Pueblo.
