Alan is a young, innovative potter who began his artistic career when he taught himself to carve fetishes at the age of 13.  He went on to study at the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, where he developed an interest in pottery. Today, he is considered a rising star in this artform, experimenting with different clays and forms.
