When Paul Zolbrod left Pennsylvania to retire to New Mexico, he wanted to learn the Navajo language. His teacher was Roseann S. Willink. Since then, they have worked together on numerous projects. Full of exquisite photographs of the lands of the Navajo, photographs of weavers and their weavings, the authors take the reader on an intimate journey into this land and its inhabitants, sharing their knowledge of the people and the weaving artform.
