Necklace - Inlaid Whole Shell by Charlene and Frank Reano (San Felipe & Santo Domingo Pueblos)

Charlene has won many awards for her superlative mosaic inlay work. A whole clam shell has been inlaid with turquoise, lapis, spiny oyster shell, melon, mother of pearl and green snail shell on one side while the reverse side has been inlaid with turquoise and spiny oyster shell. The shell is showcased on a 2 strand turquoise necklace with spiny oyster shell beads.
