In this elegant necklace, Shane Hendren used sterling silver, bronze and copper to create beautiful barrel shaped beads using the marriage of metals technique that are interspersed with sterling silver saucer and hand fluted beads and Shane's trademark clasp. They can be worn with or without a pendant.
Master metalsmith Shane Hendren is one of the few Native artists to use the painstaking Japanese technique of marriage of metals, the fusing of layers of different metals. An accomplished bull rider and horse trainer, Shane has won many awards for his outstanding jewelry, including the prestigious Indian Arts and Crafts Association's Artist of the Year for 2007-2008.
