Doll in Fur Parka and Mukluks by Rosalie Silook Azzam (Yup'ik)

This lovely doll by Yup'ik dollmaker Rosalie Silook Azzam is outfitted in traditional winterwear. Her parka is made of seal fur, trimmed at the wrist and hem with beaver fur. The ruff on the hood is made of polar bear fur, with soft otter fur around the face. Her mukluks are also made of seal fur with beaver fur trim. Glass beads decorate her mukluks and the hem of her parka and are also woven into her long braids.
