This striking weaving by Priscilla Warren features deep red, blue and black terraced diamonds with red crosses in the center, on a background of black, blue and white bands. This style of weaving harks back to the early days of Navajo weaving for trade from the 1850s to 1870s, when their blankets were a mark of status among the Pueblo and Plains peoples.
