George Willis is always coming up with something new, and this time it is a design for earrings using several layers of material separated by small beads, all hung on a distinctive silver wire. In these earrings, sterling silver, lost wax cast stickball players sway in front of slices of black buffalo horn.
A working jeweler since 1964, George Willis began to concentrate on creating jewelry inspired by his Native heritage in 1990. Since then, he has received many awards, including the Indian Arts and Crafts Association's Artist of the Year for the year 2000.
