This book of cartoons by Phil Hughte captures this Zuni's artist feelings about ethnologist Frank Hamilton Cushing. Cushing went to the Zuni Pueblo in 1879 while working for the Smithsonian Institution. He became a member of the community and wrote scholarly papers about the time he spent living there. Phil Hughte's has created 43 ink drawings, with commentary about each cartoon. Also included are quotes from others about Frank Hamilton Cushing, as well as quotes from Cushing himself.
